Thank you for trusting Blessings From Italy® with your ceremony.
Blessings From Italy comprises both Diane and Giuseppe Rossi
Choosing the right Officiant is one of the most important decisions a couple will make during the wedding planning process, because the way their ceremony feels will be something they and their families will remember forever.
We are open minded individuals who are sensitive to the needs of others, regardless of belief, race, gender, age or sexual orientation. Likewise we respectfully ask not to be discriminated against. The Officiant reserves the right to refuse any service that he does not feel comfortable performing, at which time a full refund will be made and this agreement will be dissolved reciprocally.
We are legally Registered and Certified which has legal implications. In order to pronounce the couple ‘husband & wife’ in a blessing ceremony we would need to receive confirmation of their legally binding wedding certificate or we need to be informed in the event of a decision to hold their civil wedding at a later date.
Please note that we are not Humanist celebrants in the ‘strictest sense of its meaning’, as we are religiously trained and members of a religious Institution. However we are able to officiate spiritual – romantic ceremonies of a non-religious nature as long as no disrespect is inferred towards any Religion.
Cancellations must be made at least 30 days or more in advance or prior to scheduling specific services which are fundamental to the realisation of the Event and to arrange our travel schedule in a timely manner. Termination of the agreement must be made in writing to Class Act Events Europe Ltd as soon as the need for cancellation is determined.
The only reason to offer you a full refund or send a Qualified substitute Celebrant would be if Giuseppe or Diane suffered illness, were impeded by natural disaster, accident, circumstances beyond our control or in case of death.
Force Majeure: Blessings From Italy shall not be liable for damages caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to, acts of God (such as natural disasters), due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, unforeseen events that inhibit or otherwise affect performance, fire, Government restrictions, wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control. The couple agrees to hold Blessings From Italy, its employees, and subcontractors harmless from all liabilities, claims, damages and expenses relating to services arising out of this agreement.
We completely understand a couple’s desire to hold a rehearsal. If you strongly feel that a rehearsal is necessary, this should be booked in addition, subject to availability, at the time of your reservation. An additional fee will be applied to cover extra expense including a hotel booking where applicable, as this means we will be unable to accept bookings the day before your ceremony or in case of short notice we will have to provide suitable alternative arrangements to other couples.
Any changes of time of the ceremony, extra or specific requirements have to be agreed in advance between the parties, giving plenty of notice due to our demanding travel schedule and to respect our commitment with other couples who have already booked their ceremony.
Third party involvement regarding your booking:
Please note that if your booking has been made via a wedding planner, event organizer or third party agency we are not always made aware of many aspects decided by them for our services. Therefore we decline any responsibility regarding any dealings between you and your planner/agency.
Please indicate whether you have already employed the services of a wedding planner at the time of booking or if you intend to do so at a later stage. Please provide all relevant contact details. We reserve the right to refuse to collaborate with those wedding planners whose ethos does not meet our requirements. We have made an informed choice to work only with a select number of wedding planners, who are legally registered and who are known for their high standards of professionalism. Please note that we are not employees of the planner but independent professionals in our own right.
Consent To Use Likeness:
Each ceremony is originally composed and protected by copyright.
Video & Photography Release. We have no objection to the ceremony being recorded only by authorized videographers or to the presence of a professional photographer. However, discretion and respect of Privacy is obligatory and video/photos should not be used for third party purposes or be subject to unauthorized manipulation.
We reserve the right to request that your videographer signs a copyright liability form to protect our intellectual property or we reserve the right to adapt our original text accordingly on the day.
Appearance of Dress: The officiant is prepared to dress in the manner that suits the style of the couple’s ceremony, provided it allows him to present a dignified image in keeping with the character of the rite of matrimony.
We firmly believe that the courteous and considerate attitude of all those involved in the creation of your special day, is conducive to its success. The comportment of prospective Brides, Grooms and their valued guests, is also crucial to the efficacy of the ceremony itself. This will ensure that your ceremony will be forever remembered in the most positive of ways.
